Michael Wuliger: Owner, Proprietor
michael has been raised in Tampa most of his life and has always dreamed of making a contribution to the city he loves. He is a Tampa Preparatory School graduate and an avid supporter of the Jewish community that he has been involved with for the past 25 years. After graduating from Emory University and moving home, Michael began to increase his love for cooking and even more so, his love for the restaurant business itself. After about 18 months as a multi-position employee at the locally renowned Café Dufrain, Michael stumbled upon the former Café Con Trey property and instantly knew it was a remodeler's paradise. Five months later, with the help of a witty and insightful decorator (his mother), Bin 27 Bistro was born. Michael says "Bin 27 is more than just a casual fine dining restaurant. It's a place where people who like to eat at big fancy restaurants go when they don't want to eat at a big fancy restaurant. We offer the same uncompromising devotion to customer satisfaction and pair this with a well thought out, completely gourmet menu that is price conscious and executes the freshest of expectations." Michael says this was his goal: to create a cozy culinary retreat for Tampa's foodies to enjoy for a few hours. He hopes they as well as all of the Bay area feel the same way.
