Jason Cline: Executive Chef

Chef Jason was raised in St. Petersburg, Florida for most of his life and after a successful career in California, has returned to bring Bin 27 into a new era with respect to fusion dining.

After graduating Johnson and Wales Culinary Institute in Miami, Jason studied under renowned chefs in Orlando's Disney World and Peabody hotel. He took up his first executive chef position at Hue a local restaurant in downtown Orlando. Jason then decided to move to Los Angeles to take over Paladar in the heart of Hollywood and Venice Cantina where he simultaneously ran both kitchens. It was his accolades in this position that propelled him into Café Del Rey as Executive Sous Chef for a company that would promote him to the locally recognized Ondine in Sausalito, California before returning home to Florida. His goal now: to transform Bin 27 into a restaurant that is both new and exciting to the Tampa Bay area. Jason does this by using locally grown products that are as fresh as possible as well as utilizing product from hydroponic and organic growers. From the coffee that is roasted locally to the strawberries and hydroponic bok choy, Jason hopes to pay tribute to the local businesses that he knows and respects.

Chef Jason now sets his sights on bringing the Tampa Bay area the very best cuisine that he has to offer that is paired with a wine and beverage menu that is sure to set the tone for the next decade in fusion fine dining and sure to put Bin 27 on a road to culinary Valhalla.
